1.EXPERIENCE: Jay Henderkott has been designing since 1990 and has obtained considerable knowledge working at several other companies in the building business. He has also received degrees in carpentry and industrial technology.
2.COMPLETE PLANS: J's Pro-Draft provides detailed floor plans, total section details and elevations. Codes for residential construction are checked, notes for structural locations are added and beams and headers are sized for loading. The builders and suppliers have all the information they need in the plan.
3.PROFESSIONALISM: By law any individual can design and draw a single or multiple dwelling, but most building officials will require a professionally drawn plan. As a professional designer, I have joined a number of professional organizations. An important one is the American Institute of Building Design. This is a national organization of professional people that must meet certain criteria to become a member, and must maintain continuous education to remain a member.
